Spirit of Chicago Tshirt

The elements in my Chicago Spirit Collection take a deeper look into a side of Chicago's history that isn’t well-known to most people.

While the Cardinal is typically associated with Saint Louis history(baseball), in all actuality, the Northern Cardinal is Illinois’s State Bird.

The cardinal symbolizes friendship, love, devotion, self-confidence, assertiveness, family, home, and protection.

The violet flower is the Illinois state flower.

It symbolizes honesty, protection, dreams, healing, remembrance, determination, and even the idea of setting goals.

The characteristics of both the Cardinal and the Violet tie seamlessly into the heart and soul of SoleOfChicago.
