Massachusetts Man Robbed at Gunpoint for 'Top Three' Air Jordan 1s

The year just started off.

Reported acts of violence surrounding sneaker culture is unfortunately an all too common occurrence. The latest case took place late on Monday night in New Bedford, Massachusetts when a 23-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint for a of "Top Three" Air Jordan 1s.

According to South Coast Today, the incident stemmed from the unnamed victim arranging a meet up to sell the sneakers at Hazelwood Park through Facebook. The man was approached by two prospective buyers, but the sale went bad when one of them pulled out a gun and ran off with the sneakers. Police responded to the call, but were unable to apprehend either of the men involved in the robbery.

The "Top Three" Air Jordan 1 retailed for $160 back in November and has seen several restocks since then. Threatening someone's over these or any other sneakers isn't even worth it.

Air Jordan 8 "UNDFTD"

We finally got the images of the AirJordan 8 "Undefeated"  from the look of them I would of thought the olive color would be more brighter, maybe it's the lighting and how the picture was taken but in my opinion the Jordan 4s look way better. I feel that Jordan drop the ball when it comes to the 8 model because this use to be a covet  model and now that all you see on clearance in stores.  The release date is going to be January 28th for the price of 190 dollars.

Report Links Fake Sneakers to Terrorism

All I can said is wow!. I understand faking it to you make but this is ridiculous. How can you mix up brands like this I'm looking at the Roshe/ Yeezy and Roshe/ Adidas NMD I'm wondering who wearing these in public. These got to be the worst fake ever in my opinion.

Need another reason to stay away from fraudulent footwear? According to a French trade association, the sales of fake goods like Nike sneakers help fund terrorist organizations.

A new report from Union des Fabricants makes a connection between fake Nike sneakers and the 2015 attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris. The report cites a February, 2015 article at Le Figaro that said those who carried out the attacks tended "towards selling fake brands, a lucrative and low-risk sector." It also references French magazine Le Point, which wrote in the same month that one of the attackers "was caught by customs at Roissy airport two years ago in an attempt to fraudulently import products: he was receiving fake Nike trainers from China by parcel post."

The report later points to the sale of over 100,000 fake Nike t-shirts at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, which it says funded terrorist actions.

Your friends at Sole Collector have done their best to rally against fake sneakers, even sawing some in half for the sake of your enjoyment.

This Custom Louis Vuitton Ultra Boost Is a Lesson in Opulence

I do not see myself wearing these but this custom definitely look dope in my opinion.

The adidas Ultra Boost is no stranger to a premium makeover, but Instagram customizer DentKicksCustomizer’s Louis Vuitton iteration takes luxury to a whole ‘nother level entirely.

As the latest in a growing list of DIY sneakers, the Boost comes equipped with a cage featuring the unmistakable LV monogram pattern and a dark brown Primeknit upper, in homage to the French fashion behemoth’s iconic luggage range. Additional touches include brown shoe laces with gold aglets and a tongue emblazoned with the LV logo.

In additional Louis Vuitton news, here’s a teaser for the forthcoming LV x fragment design capsule.
